Beth's Smokin' Meatloaf Glaze

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (can substitute 2 Tbs dark Karo syrup or molasses)
  • 1/4 cup bourbon (... and then a shot for me)
  • 2 oz Golden Turmeric syrup
  • 1 1/2 Tbs spicy mustard
  • Dash of liquid smoke

Mix well and after your loaf is cooked to temp, then add the sauce mixture. Return to oven and broil to get a nice caramelization.
